I am a quantitative biologist. A biophysicist by training, I’ve been using various NGS approaches for more than a decade. Although I no longer work at the bench, I’ve found that a marriage of deep experience with the wet lab and clear, powerful programming (mostly in Python) have allowed me to quickly create the right analysis at the right time, while creating custom visualizations that convincingly demonstrate my points.

I’m currently a bioinformatics data scientist at Invitae working on process improvement, reliability and data-based communication. I was previously a staff scientist in Hunter Fraser’s lab at Stanford and a grad student in Mike Eisen’s lab at UC Berkeley.

More details on my background are in my resume.
